Senior Transitions
Perfect for you if: You’re at the stage in life where it no longer makes sense to stay in the big house; you’re downsizing to a condo or apartment; you’re moving somewhere to be closer to those beautiful grandchildren (and what to do with all of your stuff?); you’re transitioning into a Senior Community; or sorting through things after the loss of a loved one; you’ve accumulated a lot over the years, and want a heartfelt hand sorting through it all.
How it works: We want you to feel 100% comfortable having us in your home, so a big part of our process [link] is an initial meet and greet and discussion, where you can get to know us first over a big cup of coffee. Then, we’ll work with you to make a True Curation Plan™️, where together we’ll lovingly curate your future plan. Once we begin, you’re welcome to be in the home with us, offering direction and telling us stories (we love a good story), or you can go enjoy the Florida sunshine while we get down to brass tacks. Our process means that everything we do is logged and recorded, so you’ll know exactly where each and every item is—and can sign off before we take any action. By the end, you’ll feel like you’ve just got a new lease on life…and your things did, too! At that point, if you have any other requests, we can help you with those, too.
Life Transitions
Perfect for you if: You’re a busy professional on the move, you’ve got a second home you want to prep for sale, you’re downsizing and need to get organized, you’re moving things from a storage unit into a home, or you just need help getting sorted. (You don’t have to be moving to hire us for help.)
How it works: We’ll work with you to make a True Curation Plan™️ for your things, and then we’ll get to work! You don’t have to be present, as our process [link] means that we transparently share our activities and log each item so you know exactly where everything is—and can sign off on anything that you want to donate, sell, or remove. (Yup, we can help you do that, too.) Then, we’ll work with vendors to either move your things into your home, out of your home, into or out of storage, into consignment, or into charities of your choice.
Long-Distance Transitions
When Mom, Dad, or a loved one need help but you’re not close by, you can tag us in and we’ll take care of everything. From decluttering to organizing to packing and more, we’ll be your trusted hand from afar.
Perfect for you if: Your loved ones live in Florida but you live elsewhere; you’re not able to travel to Florida as often as you would like to help with this monumental task; your parents, aunts, uncles, or Grandpa Jim need to be moved into Senior Living, and you’re not able to take months off of work to get it all arranged; your parents are aging and they need some help decluttering and organizing of their things; you’re currently based in Italy, in which case, we also accept payment in pasta.
How it works: We’ll first coordinate with you over the phone or Zoom to hear how we can best help; then, we’ll set up a meeting with your loved ones here in Florida so we can introduce ourselves and start designing our True Curation Plan™️. We’ll work closely with your loved ones towards the big goal, and will keep you updated as we go along. We’ll send along regular status updates so you can rest-assured that they’re being well taken care of, and everything is going smoothly. We promise we’ll treat them like a family member of our own, which may or may not involve swapping chili recipes and dancing to oldies while using a loaf of bread as a microphone.
Estate & Bereavement Transitions
We can help organize an estate’s belongings, whether to prep for a sale or to be disbursed to loved ones.
Perfect for you if: You’re in charge of managing the estate of a loved one and need our assistance.
How it works: We’ll have a call where we can discuss your needs. Then, we’ll design a True Curation Plan™️ specifically meant for the estates of loved ones who are no longer present to make decisions. We can work with you and your family to make sure the right things go to the right places, and through our transparent process of logging and recording, you’ll be able to see the status of each item. From there, we can also work with different vendors, such as auctioneers or shipping specialists, to distribute the estate on your behalf.
